8 All-Inclusive Resorts in the USA from Vermont to Hawaii and in Between (2024)

USA

All-inclusive resorts are a little harder to find in our own backyard, so we've done the searching for you. Here are some of our favorite all-inclusive resorts in the USA mixed with regular vacation resorts.

To spend a day at a resort is to truly relax. Whether the property is all-inclusive or a traditional resort, this kind of vacation is ideal for families and couples looking to get away, reconnect and unwind.

Although all-inclusive resorts are prevalent throughout Mexico and the Caribbean, you have to search a little harder to find them in the United States. But they do exist, and in fact, you might find that the exceptional value and carefree style of an all-inclusive will become your go-to vacation choice.

As you wrap yourself inside a cool silk hammock with the Arizona desert as your backdrop, you close your eyes, and your mind calms effortlessly while you float. This floating meditation is just one of several offerings at Miraval aimed at making wellness and relaxation an attainable goal for guests who stay here. There are more than 120 complimentary wellness activities as well as fitness classes, three pools, and a 24-hour Body Mindfulness Fitness Center. Miraval’s nightly rate packages together all gourmet meals, fresh snacks, and an unlimited smoothie bar. The resort’s emphasis on mindful eating draws inspiration from fresh, local, and healthy ingredients, such as scallop crudo, crostini of flowers, and herbs picked from the on-site gardens and duck confit. San Diego, California

Hotel del Coronado, or The Del as locals call it, rises like a grand palace from the golden beaches of Coronado, San Diego’s charming island getaway within sight of the city. The Del’s crimson turrets may look familiar from its starring roll inSome Like it Hot,and for historic hotel buffs, the interiors full of Victorian period detailing are swoon-worthy, including the show-stopping gilded cage elevator in the lobby (both historic and “haunted” tours are offered daily).

Beyond the iconic main building is a 28-acre beach resort that unrolls toward the ocean with pools, hot tubs, dining spots, and plenty of lounge chairs to soak up the sun. Accommodations range from centrally-located, high-ceilinged options in the original building to contemporary beach-chic rooms in the Oceana Towers. Rent a bike and cruise along the beach, then reward yourself with an ice cream creation from the Sundaes shops or the Crown Room’s decadent brunch.

Vail, Colorado

1/3

Right in the center of Vail’s pedestrian village, The Arrabelle is a luxurious resort that looks like a series of posh Bavarian townhouses. The lobby is all marble floors and soaring ceilings, and a rooftop pool that offers spectacular views of the surrounding mountains and swaying aspens. Even basic rooms here are plush perches with mountain views, fireplaces, elegant furnishings, and rich fabrics. Private residences increase the luxury quota with multi-bedroomed apartments with steam showers and jetted, deep soaking tubs.

The resort is just steps away from the Eagle Bahn Gondola which soars to the top of the ski slopes and also leads to the hotels acclaimed sister restaurant, Game Creek Lodge; a secluded dining experience reached by ATV after you’ve ascended the mountain that features foie gras, truffles, and wild boar on its gourmet menu. Although skiing is an obvious past time here, the staff is skilled at creating unusual itineraries in the summer months that showcase the mountain, including llama lunch hikes, scenic gondola rides, and bike cruiser tours.
