Understanding what someone else is saying and how they are feeling, and having your feelings and ideas understood as well. We want to feel understood by others. In order to have understanding, we have to hear one another. A couple tips to help ... Really #listen. Give whomever you are speaking with your full attention. Even pause for a moment after they finish to really take in what they are saying. Pausing in between talking points, as well, provides a moment for the listener to share their thoughts and this provides for deeper connection. These simple tips help create impactful conversations which lead to deeper connection - which leads to feeling happier. I'm working on this too! Let's improve together.
